SendMe Refuge has 3 feeding centers that are up and running every weekday feeding over 200 kids per day between all the centers! Los Alamos is the orphanage that SendMe Refuge acquired in its early years when it was originally not even on the ministry's radar. With kids being at the center of the ministry's focus, a orphanage was a no brainer when needing somewhere to bring kids in to.  Los Alamos has turned into way more than just an orphanage and brings many ministry fronts to SendMe Refuge. Education to the people we work with is only sought after if every other possible need is met first. Money is a huge deterrent keeping kids from going through all levels of school. The lack of resources from parents is stealing the potential generational change the kids can have on their families because they can't afford to go to school.  By providing education materials, financials to attend school, or even the education itself is a huge need being met by SendMe Refuge. Chiquihuite is the town on the volcano that we work in. SendMe Refuge is doing many different projects in this community to help better people's lives all around, allowing us to walk through discipleship with them. Is sharing the Gospel enough if you leave someone hungry? SendMe Refuge believes to truly love is to meet physical needs, like food, to go along with the Gospel. Providing food to those who can't afford it, in any amount, is a gateway to sharing the Gospel and letting someone know how much God loves them!

SendMe Refuge's medical and dental teams provide care and treatment to those who either can't afford it or do not have access to it. Health issues from parasites to infections to near death experiences are all things SendMe Refuge comes in contact with. Is God calling you to be on our next medical team?

Many kids in the communities where we work, we saw getting hurt by open flames from cooking. Eco Stoves is a more economical way to cook due to the increased heat while burning less wood. Eco Stoves also have a ventilation pipe so one's house is not filled with smoke all day from cooking. Is this for you?

Clean water is a life essential no matter where you live. Not having clean water leads to awful sicknesses and parasites. The water bucket filtration systems that we give out help prevent these sicknesses by taking the bacteria infested water and making it clean, potable water. Does this speak to you?

A major source of diseases are from mosquito bites. A lot of these bites occur on the people during the night while they are trying to sleep. SendMe Refuge provides mosquito nets that we hang over people's beds to keep the mosquitos from biting them. This has drastically increased the health of those we serve.

SendMe Refuge aims to provide resources to better the lives of those around us. One way we do that is by providing shoes.  To help prevent kids from getting parasites, bacteria, or stepping on things to cut them, we try to make sure all kids have shoes to wear!

To even have water to purify, there needs to be a source. Many communities we work with work very hard just to have clean water or give up money for other life essentials to buy water. Our well drilling ministry has been able to meet this need for a source of water just like how our source of hope is Jesus!

A huge group that SendMe Refuge has identified and been able to minister to, is the youth in the surrounding areas of Los Alamos. Being able to host youth events at the orphanage has been a huge blessing and has had an incredible impact.
